Hello angels and welcome to my dream come true! ☆
The name DearVida was inspired by my love for diary entries ever since I was a little girl. I have always been a nostalgic child, drawn to the little things that hold memories and meaning. There is something so special about the way a diary captures little moments in time - the things we loved, the way we felt, and the girls we once were.
Just as trends come and go, so do we - moving through different moods, thoughts and feelings, each one becoming a little entry in the story of who we are. Yet, amongst all that change, there are certain styles that can still light up your heart years later. This is what I want DearVida clothing to be - pieces that are dear to your heart, even as you grow and change.
The clothes I design for DearVida aim to make your inner child smile and feel loved, alongside edgier pieces that make you feel like the icon you are!
My love for playing dress-up began when I was a little girl and grew into a fascination with vintage catwalks, edgy silhouettes and all things girly. That feeling of dressing up to feel like the chicest and freest version of yourself became the inspiration behind DearVida - a celebration of the power and beauty in being unapologetically yourself.
From pale pinks to noir, the ever-changing states of womanhood are woven into DearVida’s designs. Each piece is created to capture a timeless sense of cool and elegance, while leaving room for all the different versions of ourselves, with a gentle romance at the heart of it.
DearVida is a love letter to my inner child - and to that whimsical little girl we all carry within us.
